We have BIG news to share from The FIG!
Our brilliant fourth and fifth grade Math League teams topped the charts in this year’s international Math League com
petition — an incredible achievement considering the contest featured schools from across the United States and Canada.

In their very first year participating, both of our teams not only rose to the challenge but led the entire competition.
Our Fourth Grade Team ranked #1 out of 338 schools, with a stellar team score of 143 — just edging out the second-place team by a single point!
Our Fifth Grade Team also clinched 1st place out of 430 schools, finishing with a team score of 145, three points ahead of the runner-up from Toronto!
Frazer Elementary School Principal, Ms. Brittany Dudas, shared her pride in a press release:
“Both these teams did well because of the deep bench of talented math students at the FIG. We don’t rely on one or two gifted students; we’ve cultivated a culture at the school that celebrates excellence and a passion for learning.”
This victory was powered by consistent teamwork, curiosity, and the daily dedication of both our students and our incredible staff.

We are especially proud of fifth grader Tej Bamzai-Wokhlu, who tied for first place nationally with a perfect individual score!
None of this would be possible without the support and guidance of our phenomenal coaches and teachers, Pauline Watson and Britt Ryerson, who have worked tirelessly with students throughout the year.
“It’s amazing to work with students who are so focused on doing their best,” said Ms. Watson. “Their motivation is inspiring. It’s refreshing to see students who truly love to use their critical thinking skills to solve mathematical problems.”
Parents are celebrating as well. Frazer parent Anita Wokhlu summed it up perfectly:
“We were impressed by how well the new elementary school did nationally in its first year of this competition.”
At Frazer Elementary, we believe in building a community where learning is joyful, curiosity is encouraged, and excellence is shared. This moment is a perfect reflection of what we stand for.
To our students, teachers, coaches, and families — congratulations! You’ve made The FIG proud.
