Geography Bee in Gainesville, FL

At the Frazer Institute for Greatness (the FIG), students are encouraged to challenge themselves academically through a variety of enrichment opportunities. One of these is the Geography Bee, a competition where students test their knowledge of the world, its people, and its cultures.

What is the Geography Bee?

The Geography Bee is an academic competition that encourages students to broaden their understanding of:

  • Physical and political geography

  • Cultures and traditions around the world

  • Current events and global issues

  • Historical and geographic connections

Participation strengthens not only content knowledge, but also the ability to think critically and answer questions under pressure.
